The BACKGROUND RESEARCH REPORT, aiming to identify current practices of music and dance education in European prisons. Thanks to the questionnaires compiled by partners' countries prisons, the results were collected and analysed to show the current context at European level.
Examples of Best Practice & Innovation. Supporting the Practical Teaching Model will be a range of METHODOLOGIES and SUCCESS STORIES from work already undertaken in centres across Europe, from the process of piloting material for the Teaching Model and from workshops & presentations at the transnational meetings & conference.
The Practical Teaching Model covering 3 key aspects concerned with prison education: Music, Dance, Combined. Following background research undertaken by all the partners, material suitable for use by prison teachers will be developed, piloted & published in appropriate, easily-accessible formats; the main language will be English with summaries will be in the other partner languages.
